Arts of Survival Documentaries are in the main programme of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024.
The main goal of the conference was to strengthen the capacity of European cities to implement the projects included in their applications, regardless of whether or not a city was awarded the title of “European Capital of Culture”.
BALATORIUM is a series of cultural events and a science communication project, which is part of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture (VEB2023 ECOC) programme.
The project will involve several months of research on the music field, together with representatives from other European and international countries, evaluating various criteria and developing a handbook.
The delegation in Liepaja was hosted by the City Council’s leadership together with representatives of the concert hall “Great Amber”, the Liepaja Special Economic Zone, the European Capital of Culture 2027 and 17th-19th century interior museum “Madame Hoyer’s Guest House” representatives.
On Monday evening, a meeting with the designer Baiba Ripa was held in the Park Pavilion, in order to bring up the topic of long-term clothing creation and use in the society.
On Friday, 30 September at 19.00, on the opening night of the contemporary art festival “Liepāja Art Forum”, we will spend an extraordinary evening of salon music together with the talented and experienced French trio “Surel, Segal & Gubitsch”.
To address, inform and involve the target audience of the Centre, in August and September 2022, the Centre will launch a series of kick-off activities such as discussions, educational lectures and masterclasses “KNOW / APRECIATE/ PRESERVE”
