String Quartet JUNO brings together young musicians in search of their musical identity, weaving classical traditions with a contemporary perspective. Their interpretations are marked by both intimacy and boldness, and in this concert, their sound will meet the rich timbres of woodwind instruments.
The programme features British composer Gerald Finzi’s lyrical Interlude for oboe and string quartet – a conversation between people who never stop listening. Wynton Marsalis’ Meeelaan for bassoon and quartet adds a touch of jazz and playful intimacy. Meanwhile, Ravel’s String Quartet in F Major is a refined architectural masterpiece – precise, sensual, and timeless.
