he Cultural Department of the City of Chemnitz is offering a scholarship for a literary producer’s residency from April 1, 2026. The scholarship will enable people to engage more intensively with the past and present of life in the city of Chemnitz and the region. The application deadline is September 14.

On 16 August from 14:00 to 20:00, the leafy paths of Karosta will once again become home for the traditional Lāčplēsis Garden Festival.
