CreArt Kaunas and Kaunas Artists’ House invite land and environmental art creators to design installations in public spaces along the Nemunas River in Kaunas.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a creative environment, drawing inspiration from the city’s culture and vibrant art community.
This competition was launched to inspire the creation of an innovative and artistically refined environmental object that integrates seamlessly into Liepaja’s urban landscape.
This concert performance “Personal Code: Liepāja” is designed to symbolically and emotionally capture the essence of Liepāja – its identity, core values, and spirit.
11 masterclasses will be held across Liepāja, South Kurzeme, and Kuldīga between 1 November and 30 April 2025.
In total, 11 projects were submitted, with the top 5 receiving funding to implement their ideas during the event.
This initiative seeks bids for an installation that will become a signature landmark in the city’s urban landscape. The competition deadline for entries is 25 November 2024.
The goal is to support projects that dive deep into the rock tradition of Liepāja, South Kurzeme and Kuldīga regions, amplifying, rocking and “unearthing” its legacy while pushing creative boundaries.
Application deadline is 6 October 2024.
Within this pilot project, participant will receive training and guidance to plan and execute cultural events tailored to their peers.
