The first meeting of the Supervisory Board for Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027 (Liepāja 2027) took place today at the Ministry of Culture.
In a pioneering move set to redefine public gatherings, Liepāja announces its step toward sustainability with the launch of a pilot project introducing deposit system at public events.
Flights are scheduled from July 11 to July 22, and from August 1 to August 5, operating twice a week.
The Council is slated to operate until July 1, 2028.
The study will analyse the impact of this project on socio-economic development, public engagement, and cultural identity in Liepāja, the South Kurzeme and Kuldīga regions ((Un)Rest Land).
The Foundation “Liepāja 2027” is pleased to announce a public tender for the development and implementation of the assessment study for the European Capital of Culture (Liepāja2027).
Tenders are due by January 18, 2024, and should be submitted through the e-tendering subsystem of the Electronic Procurement System.
