The “Liepāja 2027” team will present the strategy of the European Capital of Culture 2027 project.
During European Heritage Days from the 8th to the 10th of September, more than 60 cultural heritage sites will be open to visitors all across Latvia.
The Liepāja Theatre opens its 117th season with the production “Svešā āda” /Alien Skin/ directed by Inga Krasovska and based on the novel “Krieva āda” /Russian Skin/ by Dace Rukšāne.
Liepāja’s pavilion will be shaped like a giant sandbox with real sand from Liepāja beach, featuring activities for both adults and children.

All festival activities are free of charge. But please note that the activities will be held in English since they are led by international experts.
