Justas Tertelis is a professional theatre maker: theatre and film actor, playwright, director who has been nominated and awarded at various festivals and got theatre awards for his roles, texts and performances. He works at Theatre Open Circle, Keistuolių Theatre, and collaborates with various Lithuanian theatres in individual projects. Part of his work is devoted to educational activities, initiating and curating educational projects that develop creativity.

A solo performance for everyone who loves theater. If you’ve always been curious about how actors learn so much text, how they not only “enter” but also “exit” a role, and what it feels like to perform in a “good” play – actor, playwright, and director Justas Tertelis reveals the backstage of today’s theater world in an engaging and light manner in his solo performance.

This solo performance continues the theme of Justas Tertelis’ first play “PRA – a one-act solo play for a beginner actor, but in the current performance, the actor views the relationship between theater and society not from the perspective of a beginner, but from that of an experienced, middle-aged theater creator. Through a general dialogue with the audience, involving and questioning established societal norms about theater and culture, and exploring paradoxical situations characteristic of the creative world, the actor invites not only smiles but also self-reflection – why do we still go to the theater today? What kind of theater and culture do we need today?

  • Director, playwright, actor – Justas Tertelis
  • Set designer – Laura Luišaitytė
  • Composer – Nikolajus Polujanovas
