Cultural Breakfast: Preparing Together for Liepāja’s 400th Anniversary

Liepāja’s 400th anniversary is fast approaching — on Wednesday, February 5, cultural leaders from the state, municipality, private, and NGO sectors gathered at the Liepāja 2027 office on Dārza Street 4/8 to discuss the extensive plans for the celebrations.
The meeting also continued the joint work on shaping the Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027 program, exchanging ideas and insights to ensure that the European Capital of Culture year becomes an unforgettable experience for both locals and visitors.
A big thank you to all participants who joined this Cultural Breakfast!

Congratulations to Nova Gorica and Gorizia on the opening of their European Capital of Culture year!
During the opening events, Nova Gorica and Gorizia symbolically came together to embrace a world without borders, highlighting how culture can break down barriers and unite cities, people, and nations.
