Liepāja 2027 Invites You to a Discussion on the Development of the Volunteer Program

Marking International Volunteer Day on Thursday, December 5, at 14:30, the foundation “Liepāja 2027” invites everyone interested to participate in an event dedicated to shaping the Liepāja 2027 Volunteer Program.
The event will take place at the Liepāja 2027 office, Dārza Street 4/8, 2nd floor.

This program aims to be an essential component in promoting community involvement and cultural life, providing opportunities for everyone in Liepāja, South Kurzeme, and Kuldīga municipalities to join the Liepāja 2027 Volunteer Movement.

During the event, experienced volunteers will share their insights, and the Liepāja 2027 team will present opportunities to become part of the Volunteer Program.

To join the discussion, please fill out the application form by Monday, December 2, 23:59.

The event program will consist of two parts. The first will feature discussions, idea exchanges, and proposals on how to shape volunteering within the Liepāja 2027 program. The second part will be a creative workshop where participants can craft environmentally friendly gift wrappings for the “Fill the Big Gift Bag” campaign by Rūķupe’s Elves.

Goals of the Liepāja 2027 Volunteer Program:

• Encourage public participation in cultural life by enabling event involvement and fostering a sense of belonging.
• Support the implementation of cultural activities.
• Provide additional support for organizations and creative teams.
• Promote international exchange of experience.
• Facilitate personal growth and skill development.
• Increase public awareness of the significance of culture and strengthen Liepāja’s image.
