The third Community Program meeting has taken place, featuring guest lecturers from Germany and Lebanon
During the final meeting of 2024, participants of the Community Strengthening Program continued developing their project ideas. Participants explored various community art projects from the Baltic region and beyond, while also engaging in practical exercises to foster community cohesion and generate project ideas inspired by community members.
The session was led by Baltic Community Theater School co-founders and community art experts Ieva Niedre, Kristīna Vernere (Kristina Werner) from Germany, and Nazha Harba (Nazha Harb) from Lebanon.
The Community Program is a series of activities and ideas designed to activate the residents of Liepāja city, South Kurzeme, and Kuldīga municipalities, building strong and vibrant communities.
Training sessions and meetings will be held approximately once a month until June 2025 year.
Through learning community art methodologies, participants gain the skills to improve their neighborhoods and fill them with engaging content. Together, they will develop and plan ideas, with opportunities to explore additional funding possibilities.
