From Baroque to Rock

“From Baroque to Rock” is a chamber music concert series at Karosta Chamber Hall, bringing together the sounds of Baroque, Romantic and rock music in a single musical journey.

The two-concert programme will feature compositions from different musical eras alongside rock pieces in new chamber arrangements, complemented by stories about the evolution of music, creative freedom and the interaction between different periods.

The concerts will feature pianist Viktorija Gaiķe, cellist Krišjānis Gaiķis, and actress, soloist and concert host Everita Pjata-Gertnere, revealing the spirit of Liepāja’s rock music and alternative culture through a fresh musical perspective.
