On Friday, June 12, an ideas workshop for the project “(un)rest Path of Light: Aizpute story” was held at Aizpute Pilskrogs as part of the “Liepāja – European Capital of Culture 2027” programme.
“Together with Aizpute residents and other interested participants, we generated, discussed, and developed ideas for the future community project “Aizpute Path of Light”. We are delighted by the high level of enthusiasm, creativity, and valuable suggestions. Several strong concepts and design directions emerged during the workshop and we will continue to develop them in the next phases of the project. We sincerely thank every participant for their contribution. Step by step, together we are creating a unique story of light that will illuminate Aizpute during the dark months, especially in the winter season, and reflect the creative spirit of its community!” says Zane Puisīte, representative of the Aizpute Renaissance Association.
Now that the masterclass now complete, community activities are already underway, and preparations for future events are in progress to bring the “Aizpute Path of Light” initiative to life.
