The Biggest Annual SUMMER SOUND Festival is Right Here!

Just few more days and the highly anticipated, most exhilarating and grandiose event of the season – the hottest SUMMER SOUND 24' festival will set-off in Liepāja!

On August 2 and 3, more than sixty Latvian and international artists will take the stages across four festival areas, in the dance music haven, "Klubs++" tent and other locations with their brand-new shows tailored for this particular event. Attendees can look forward to German DJ Robin Schulz, French electronic duo Ofenbach, Finnish sensation Käärijä, party gang Bermūdu Divstūris, hip-hop supergroup Singapūras Satīns, Astro'n'out, rap powerhouse BANDA BANDA, the unicorns Citi zēni, Sudden Lights, Very Cool People, Kreisais Krasts, the controversial rapper VIŅA, the iconic Inokentijs Mārlps, Mazais Princis, urban rock band Laika Suns, Olas, Wiesulis & sangvn, Pirmais Kurss, and many more. Festival gates will open on August 2 at 16:00, welcoming guests with early musical treats right on the beach.

The Summer Sound tent campus, operational from Thursday, August 1 at 17:00 until Sunday, August 4 at 15:00, will be equipped with toilets, showers, catering services, a bar, and a dedicated party zone. For added security, video surveillance will be in place throughout the festival grounds. Additionally, the already popular campervan campus will be located nearby, offering a cozy retreat for festival-goers.

VIP areas at the festival are also in high demand. VIP ticket holders will enjoy a host of exclusive benefits, including VIP check-in, access to special VIP zones at all three main stages with dedicated bars, superior concert views, and top-notch amenities. VIP tickets also include an overnight stay in the tent city, though spaces are limited.

Getting to the venue has to be accomplished not only with comfort, but also with style, thus this year, festival-goers can choose from a range of convenient travel options: Lux Express buses, a train ride with Vivi, or a special pop-up flight with airBaltic for a truly royal arrival. Summer Sound Festival for families with children!

As every year, party guests with kids will have access to the Summer Sound Children's Town, where the little ones can engage in playful activities, forge new friendships, participate in creative workshops, play large-scale games, watch a mesmerizing big bubble show, get their faces painted, and revel in the true essence of the festival! For an additional fee, children aged 4 and above can be left in the Children's Town without parental supervision, ensuring a worry-free experience for parents. Tickets for this service can be purchased at the entrance to the Children's Town.

This year, special attention has been given to mothers with newborns. The Children's Town Mum's Corner offers a free, comfortable space where mothers can feed their babies, change nappies, and take a well-deserved break. Children under 10 years of age can attend the festival free of charge.

Wristband exchange points and times:

To minimize wait times on the day of the festival and within the festival area’s ques, attendees are encouraged to exchange their tickets for wristbands in advance.

In RĪGA, wristband exchange points will be available at the entertainment and shopping centres "AKROPOLE Rīga" (Latgales iela 257, Rīga) and "AKROPOLE Alfa" (Brīvības iela 372, Rīga):

• 31.07. from 10:00 to 21:00

• 1.08. from 10:00 to 21:00

• 2.08. from 10:00 to 21:00

In LIEPĀJA, wristbands can be collected at the shopping centre "Kurzeme" (Lielā iela 13, Liepāja):

• 31.07. from 17:00 to 22:00

• 1.08. from 10:00 to 22:00

• 2.08. from 10:00 to 15:00

Wristband exchange will also be available at the festival grounds starting from 1 August at 16:00.

Deliver your bags to the festival with DPD Latvia!

DPD Latvia, a steadfast partner of the festival, ensures that attendees can send their belongings to the festival gates free of charge. Items will be transported from various locations across Latvia and can be collected at the "DPD" pick-up point next to the festival VIP parking lot, directly opposite the entrance to the tent city. Detailed information on how and when you can send your items will be available soon on the festival website at www.summersound.lv.

An eco-friendly deposit system for drink glasses will be introduced to the public at the festival. When you get your first drink, you'll receive a special deposit glass that can be reused or swapped for a fresh one at no extra charge. At the end of your festival adventure, you have the option to keep this glass as a fun souvenir or exchange it in for a €5 discount on Summer Sound 2025 tickets or a €2 Narvesen voucher, which you can use at any festival wristband exchange point or Info Centre across Latvia. The Narvesen voucher is a good deal for purchasing various products, excluding alcoholic beverages and tobacco, and needs to be used in one go.

Plus, you can choose to donate this amount to support the Ukrainian Events Association project "Music Saves UA."

Additional festival activities include Coca Cola catering areas in the park and on the beach, a festival-themed craft market, free drinking water refills, a beach volleyball tournament, carousels, and various other entertainment options.
