Liepāja 2027 Foundation Announces Several New Job Vacancies

The Foundation “Liepāja 2027 Foundation” (Liepāja 2027) has announced several new job vacancies; the available positions include a Programme Producer, two Content Producers, International Projects and External Fundraising Specialist, Sponsor Outreach and Cooperation Project Communication Specialist, and Accounting Officer.

According to Inta Šoriņa, Chair of the Board of Liepāja 2027, these vacancies represent a critical milestone in advancing the programme’s goals. “As Liepāja celebrates its 400th anniversary, these roles provide an opportunity to contribute your skills and be part of a transformative initiative that will shape the city’s cultural and socio-economic future. We are seeking professionals who are ready to co-create major cultural events, engage international audiences, and leave a lasting legacy for Liepāja and its community.”

The main job responsibilities of the Programme Producer include managing and coordinating the production of events, preparing budgets and schedules, ensuring the documentation required for event implementation is in place, overseeing budget execution, and managing contractual relationships with artists, technical staff, and service providers. This full-time position offers a gross salary of €1,800.

Content Producers are also being recruited to further develop the Liepāja 2027 programme. The full-time position offers a gross salary of €1,800, while a part-time role is available with a gross salary of €900. Their duties involve designing, developing, and overseeing the programme’s artistic and cultural events, participating in the creation of thematic guidelines, collaborating with partners, curators, artists and authors, and ensuring the quality and cohesion of the programme’s content.

The International Projects and External Fundraising Specialist will focus on attracting resources from European funds and other external financial sources to support the Liepāja 2027 programme. Responsibilities also include developing and coordinating international projects, fostering relationships with global cultural organisations, and securing financial resources for mobility and cooperation initiatives. This full-time role offers a gross salary of €1,800.

The Accounting Officer will handle essential financial operations, including managing daily accounting operations, reviewing and processing contracts and invoices for payment, assisting in the development and management of the organisation's budget, and overseeing the planning and execution of the three-year financial plan. Additional responsibilities include verifying and monitoring cost estimates for activities, contributing to the preparation of financial statements, and ensuring timely submission of all required reports to relevant authorities. This full-time position offers a gross monthly salary of €1,800.

The Sponsor Outreach and Cooperation Project Communication Specialist will oversee communication for Liepāja 2027’s partnership and sponsorship initiatives. Responsibilities include managing relationships with existing and potential partners, developing communication strategies for cooperation projects, and creating sponsorship proposals. The ideal candidate should demonstrate experience in cultivating and maintaining relationships with both current and prospective partners and sponsors. Proficiency in creating and executing communication plans for diverse cooperation projects is essential, along with the ability to craft and deliver sponsorship proposals. This part-time role offers a gross monthly salary of €900.
