During the meeting, representatives from the ministries confirmed that significant improvements to transportation infrastructure are planned, particularly in developing railway connections, which will strengthen Liepāja's significance in the region and ensure easier access to the city and its surroundings.

The next program supervisory council meeting is scheduled for January 8, 2025, where program activities will be reviewed in relation to funding, as well as the evaluation of marketing activities in synergy with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia.
