On June 16, community leaders and members gathered at the Nature House on Horse Island to celebrate the closing of the first year of the Liepāja 2027 Community Programme “Neighbourliness”.<\/p>
In a warm and informal setting, each of the 11 participating communities – from towns across the (un)rest Land – shared their ideas, experiences and accomplishments. From Pāvilosta to Ziemupe, Aizpute to Kuldīga, Liepāja and Otaņķi – the programme sparked meaningful action and lasting connections. With screen presentations, storytelling, DIY tote bag printing and informal conversations, the atmosphere was filled with creativity and commitment.<\/p>
What became clear: this pilot year exceeded expectations. Participants are already looking forward to continuing the programme in 2026 and 2027 with even more energy and ambition!<\/p>
