Marking the bicentenary of photography, the festival invites artists to engage with a phenomenon that exists at the intersection of light, time, and the act of seeing: the moment when an image is no longer physically present, yet continues to persist in perception, reappearing and continually transforming.<\/p><h2>Funding and Conditions<\/h2><ul>\n<li>Application deadline: 15 September 2026<\/li>\n<li>In addition to the opportunity to exhibit their work at the festival, selected artists will compete for three cash prizes of HUF 300,000, HUF 200,000, and HUF 100,000, awarded respectively for first, second, and third place.<\/li>\n<li>The selected works will be exhibited at the f|x|r Gallery for two months, and the winners will be announced during the exhibition opening.<\/li>\n<\/ul><p>Application form and further information about the open call are available here: <a href=\"https:\/\/fixir.hu\/loop2\/opencall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fixir.hu\/loop2<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The f|x|r Art Gallery, in collaboration with the House of Arts Veszpr\u00e9m, is pleased to announce the open call for the LOOP\u00b2 2026 Video Art Festival, taking place in Veszpr\u00e9m, one of Hungary&#8217;s most historic and picturesque cities.
