Two eras. Two voices, one subject: the inner life of a human being.<\/p><p>Brahms&rsquo; Second Sextet is like a letter from the Romantic era &ndash; intimate, reflective, filled with longing, memory, and a quiet sense of reconciliation. Schoenberg&rsquo;s Transfigured Night, inspired by Richard Dehmel&rsquo;s poem, looks to the future &ndash; a music of heightened drama and expression, at once fragile and shattering.<\/p><p>Yet both works meet at a single point: the moment when a person is left alone with their truth.<\/p><p>The South Kurzeme Festival &ldquo;Rimbenieks&rdquo; is implemented within the framework of the &ldquo;Liep&#257;ja 2027&rdquo; programme, with funding provided by the Ministry of Culture, the State City of Liep&#257;ja, and the municipalities of South Kurzeme and Kuld&#299;ga.
