The Mobile Défilé “On Land, in the Water and in the Air” is an international open‑air event combining art on wheels, mobile scenography, contemporary circus and street theatre.<\/p>
The event brings together nearly a dozen artists and troupes from Belgium, France, the Netherlands, and Latvia, serving up a mix of open-air shows and interactive performances. Amongst the crowd, the French outfit “Théâtre de la Toupine” is wheeling out their carousel performance “The Garden House”, while the Dutch crew “Tukkers connexion” brings a trio of pieces – “Alone”, ‘Sofa’, and ‘Rally’. Meanwhile, the “Underclouds” troupe presents “Inertia”, where acrobatics and gravity team up to create a dynamic dance of movement. Programme also includes “Fabuloka”, “Cie Dynamogene”, and the “Mirage Jazz Orchestra”, while over on the water, the “Piano du lac” performance series and Reinier Sijpkens’ musical boat shows will be making waves.<\/p>
Creative workshops invite visitors to learn new skills and transform objects under the wing of pro artists, giving old items a second wind. Over at the Belgian “Atelier Mobile” workshop, you can try your hand at tweaking clothes using pedal-powered sewing machines and upcycling discarded odds and ends into brand-new works of art.<\/p>
