The project ElektrON &ndash; The Future of Amber will open a call for innovative artists who merge technology and science in their creative practice. Together with researchers and historians, the selected artists will take part in an international symposium in Liep&#257;ja and P&#257;vilosta in May 2026, exploring the cultural role of amber and other fossil materials. During artist residencies, they will create works that reveal amber&rsquo;s contemporary potential in bold and unexpected ways. These works will later feature in an exhibition at the Liep&#257;ja Museum, running from January to June 2027.<\/p><p>Organised by Association &ldquo;ASTE.
